This project publishes useful plugins for Atlassian Confluence (a Wiki system) and Jira (an issue tracking system). We've developed these plugins for our day-to-day work of heavyweight software-engineering, and hope that they may be of use you.
Currently, there is only one published plugin, but watch out for more:
To use this plugin, you have to add a custom field of type "issue order" to Jira, and the corresponding column to your navigator view. When you click on the new column to sort the view by custom order, you see up and down arrows and an entry field for each issue.
You can move issues up and down by clicking on the arrows. You can also move an issue to a specific position in the list by entering the position in the field and pressing the enter key.
The new custom field orders issues globally, i.e. when you reorder issues, this order applies for all users. If you ever need to have more than one order, just add a second custom field.
